Dr. Sidney Cohen will speak on the topic of Betrayal Trauma. When we have been betrayed in the past it has most likely been by someone close to us, either by a loved one, a partner, or a supervisor, our job, it’s important to acknowledge these events in our lives.

The ٱƵapp Campaign is devoted to bringing together grassroots movements and organizations to create a culture of peace, establish departments and ministries of peace, & prioritize nonviolent forms of communication. WE do this through promoting a global military ceasefire & the multilateral framework of the UN for resolving international conflicts.
ATOP MeaningfulWorld will join the United Nations on 21 September 2024 to observe the International Day of ٱƵapp. Our event will focus on ending wars through emotional intelligence, empathy, and non-violent communication. The program will include meditation, movement, and Soul Surfing Yoga for peace, messages of peace from youth, and live music.

The event has been organized officially by the KOCUN-IDP since 2008. UN agencies, governments, NGO/NPOs, companies, and youths have participated in the event to celebrate ٱƵapp Day. About 200 youths will join the event to have a talk about building peace together.

In this documentary, thirty women activists including Nobel ٱƵapp Laureates and renowned feminist, Gloria Steinem, set out on a risky journey across the DMZ between North and South Korea, calling for an end to a 70-year war that has divided the Korean people. Following the film, there will be a panel with a local Korean.
During this half-day program, traditional Buddhist mantras will be chanted that focus on bringing individual peace, as well as peace for our families, our friends, our neighborhoods, the country, and the world.
